The team of Swiss Climate EcoCare GmbH provides expertise at the intersection of sustainability and corresponding regulations. As an independent verifier, we work with clients from a broad range of sectors and always strive for efficient, yet meaningful verification of your sustainability data.
History
Swiss Climate, headquartered in Bern and with subsidiaries in Hamburg, Zurich, Geneva and Valais, is a leading consulting company with over 10 years of experience in the development of holistic climate strategies and sustainability concepts. We provide companies with solutions on how to
use resources more efficiently and reduce climate-relevant emissions at the same time.
Our interdisciplinary team has a strong background in environmental and economic sciences as well as sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR). This is the foundation of our core competence to understand all climate-relevant KPIs and to reflect them in monitoring concepts and emission reports. In this context, we also have strong expertise in the field of logistics, in particular maritime shipping.
In 2010, Swiss Climate developed and implemented CO₂ footprints that comply with all requirements of the EU MRV and IMO DCS regulations. Naturally, the next step was to include verification services under these schemes in our product portfolio and to become an accredited verification body. For this we founded the independent Swiss Climate EcoCare GmbH in Hamburg in 2010.
